Chinese troops have stepped up operations near the Barahoti area of the Indian state of Uttarakhand.According to the information, China has shown activity in its area after about six months.

India has also deployed more troops in the central sector and rear formations have also arrived, sources said. The Indian Air Force has also activated some airbases there. AN-32 planes have been landing there.
The activities of Chinese soldiers have been seen in the Barahoti area, the China border area adjoining Chamoli in Uttarakhand. It is being told by the local people that more than 40 soldiers had reached the Barahoti area, while some soldiers riding on horses reached Hotigad. They stayed here for some time. At the same time, as soon as the news of the activities of Chinese soldiers, the state government has alerted its intelligence agencies.
China has been claiming some areas of Uttarakhand
According to the information, China has also increased its activity at the airport of Barahoti region. Drones and helicopters are working in the airport. After this information came to the fore, the Indian Army has also deployed its troops in the Barahoti region, so that a situation like Ladakh does not arise. Army has also been deployed in the central sector. Significantly, last year there was a conflict between the two armies in Ladakh. China has been presenting its claim in this area of Uttarakhand.
A few days ago, India’s Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and Central Army Commander Lt Gen had reviewed the Central Sector to review the situation in the LAC. Military officials have informed that at present more than 50 thousand soldiers of both the countries are stationed on the Line of Actual Control in the sensitive area.
After the tussle between the India-China army in Galvan Valley of Ladakh, both the countries are engaged in resolving the issue of LAC through talks, but till now no meaningful solution is visible. Meanwhile, China is continuously increasing its activity near the LAC.
About 40 soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army have been seen patrolling in the Barahoti area. Chinese military activity near LAC is visible after a long time.
The Indian side has also made adequate arrangements in the area.
